Our directors are promising young individuals with strong international education and diverse working experiences.

Welkin Conservation is a biodiversity conservation solution providing company, specializing in Bird Diverters of premium make to help mitigate power-line collisions. We are a budding enterprise aiming to establish our presence in multiple animal conservation and welfare solutions. At Welkin, in classic proverbial fashion, we derive motivation from our love for mother nature and all its beings by reciting: 

 “Their existence is our calling”.

Our Story

Our story dates back to an expedition in the Thar Desert, where Mr Anil Fatehpuria caught a glimpse of a regal creature: The Great Indian Bustard. The long-legged, strikingly beautiful creature with its black cap and pale head had left him gasping in awe. As the horrors would soon loom in, this critically endangered species was dying out due to power line collisions. In an epiphany, he decided to devote his industrial wisdom to saving this majestic bird and other innocent birds falling prey to human activity, by marking power lines with bird diverters. Thus: 

 “Welkin Was Born”

Founder of Kartik Group of industries he found his passion for entrepreneurship in his early days. His drive for experimentation has led him to a conglomerate that acts as a hub for all your textile needs. He has also dealt with various projects in the real estate sector. Textile processing being one of the most polluting industries in India sparked his interest in Environmental Technologies sustainable living and wholesome approach towards society. This led him to be one of the founding fathers of one of the largest WWTP for textiles in Asia.

He has worked on several ground-breaking and versatile projects ranging from textiles to technology solutions. His passion for learning and ambition is reflected in his work. He has also been involved in NGOs working towards the welfare of underprivileged children in various capacities.
